In 2019 The South African Government Notices published a Gazette noticing the announcement of the re-establishment of sector education and training authorities (SETAS) from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2030, within the new SETA landscape.
Minister of Higher Education & Training, Bonginkosi Emmanuel Nzimande, amended the Skills Development Act (Act No97 of 1998) to include the reestablishment within a new landscape as indicated in Schedule 1, within the jurisdictions as indicated in Schedule 2.
